How to find us

Approaching from Carlisle

1. Head for Workington on the A595.
2. There is a roundabout at Thursby - head for Wigton on the A596 (3rd exit).
3. Follow this road almost to Maryport. Just before Maryport there is a junction on a sharp bend. Take the right turn headed for Silloth on the B5300.
4. Follow this road along the coast for approximately 4-5 miles. It will take you directly into Allonby.

Approaching from Penrith

1. At Motorway Junction 40, take the A66 (west) headed for Keswick/Cockermouth.
2. Follow the A66 as far as Cockermouth then, at the second roundabout, head north on the A595.
3. After approximately 1/2 mile there is another roundabout - take the A594 headed for Maryport.
4. Go into Maryport itself, then turn right onto the A596 - headed for Carlisle.
5. Approximately 1/2 mile out of Maryport take a left turn onto the B5300 headed for Silloth/Allonby.
6. Follow this road along the coast for approximately 4-5 miles. It will take you directly into Allonby.

Once you reach Allonby

Go through the village, over the hump backed bridge, and past the Ship Hotel (on the right). East house is almost on the edge of the village, on the left hand side of the road. The cottages are situated nearby and we will be pleased to take you over and introduce you to your holiday home.

Please Note : Keys can be collected from East house from 2:00 pm onwards. Guests are asked to return keys by 10:00 am.
